Our Story

Creating a business that is centered around our love for not only fishing, but conservation overall. Doing this right in our backyard was a dream come true and seeing the joy on our guides is worth every minute and we hope our clients have the same feeling.

Our Guides

George has over 40 years of fishing experience. He's has extensive knowledge of Stockton Lake, Pomme De Terre Lake and others in Southwest Missouri. He offers anywhere from lessons for beginners that include fishing basics, baiting and techniques of how to catch certain fish and where to find certain fish in various times of the year. If you're an experienced angler or prepping for a tournament, he can show you hidden treasure thought-out the whole lake as well as provide you with seasonal knowledge that will help you hook record setting bass.

Jeff has 35 years of fishing experience and has fished many Pro-Am Bass circuits throughout the country along within winning numerous tournaments. Some of which, have been both Stockton Lake and Pomme De Terre Lake. He can teach even the most seasoned of anglers some tips and tricks that the professionals utilize in their daily fishing. Jeff's years on these lakes come in handy when navigating the waters from spot to spot, many of which no one knows about. Fishing is part of his passion and shows in his guided trips. We guarantee the same passion will rub off on you as well!

Scott Anderson

Hey! I'm Scott! I was born and raised in Springfield, MO where I fell in love with hunting and fishing. I have done them both all of my life, including tournament fishing in and around this area for the past several years. I am also on staff at Hillbilly Huntin’; which is a group of guys promoting the outdoors to kids and their families. I have been married to my supportive wife for over 25 years. We have a son and daughter that also share my love for the outdoors. I am a Christian and believe that the Lord has brought me to where I am today. I have faith and trust Him in all that I do. I look forward to meeting you and getting you out on the water to show you some of my favorite spots!

Mark Grasmann

Hi! My name is Mark Grasmann. I have been an angler for over 45 years. I have fished competitively in tournaments for over 35 years. Currently, I am fishing the BFL Phoenix League, which is part of Major-League Fishing. I also fish in the FXL Skeeter League and in the past fished the Red Man and Central Pro Am Series. Fishing is my life and love. With my extensive experience and passion for being an angler, you'll get the time of your life on the water! Shelby Hutchens

Hey there! I’m originally from Texas but moved to the area in 2021. During the week, I’m an Assistant Professor at Pittsburg State University in Southeast Kansas, but my true passion is the outdoors. Tournament fishing has shaped my life; I was lucky enough to compete at the collegiate level for Stephen F. Austin State University (2012-2016) and performed well from East Texas to Georgia. I parlayed that experience into a Graduate Assistant and Teaching Assistant position at the University of Arkansas where I completed my master’s and PhD - all because of bass fishing. I compete in the Beaver Lake Elite Series (4th in Angler of the Year in 2024) among other circuits on Stockton Lake. I’ve got 15+ years of competitive tournament fishing experience and I’m extremely passionate about learning as much as I can every time I get on the water. I’ve coached several high school fishing teams, and many of those kids have gone on to be very successful in their own tournament fishing pursuits. You’ll be comfortable in my Xpress X21, which provides plenty of space for two-person trips and I can show you tips and tricks on setup and operation of Lowrance graphs.
